Transformative Training for the 21st Century

Team Concepts Training Services conducts leadership development courses in a state-of-the-art classroom setting. We have trained and coached over 300 leaders in the past several years at our Leadership Academy, with proven success and results. We consistently develop custom training and development programs based on the unique needs of our clients.

Training Strategies:

  • Most of our multi-day courses are conducted one session per week to allow participants to return to work and practice what they have learned.
    • For example, a four-day course will be conducted one day per week over a four-week period. This approach less obtrusive on the participant’s work schedule.
  • One-day workshops are conducted to engage participants in hands on training.
  • We have the goals and strategies needed to create high performing teams based on diversity, inclusion, accountability, and ownership. The McKinsey report and other empirical research reveals the benefits of diversity and inclusion; the trick is to institutionalize it through leadership and employee training and development, and positive cultural change.

Curriculum:

  • All curriculum is innovative and based on empirical research and proven science.
    • To be innovative, we use the latest concepts and theories in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related methodology.
  • We continuously work to add to specific bodies of knowledge by creating new theory and methodology right here at our Leadership Academy.
  • We are known for our ability to provide clients with pragmatic and applicable tools that actually work on the job.
  • We can develop curriculum for a custom team building training that is unique to the organization.
    • There is no additional charge for custom curriculum development.

This workshop is intended for supervisors and managers at all levels.

Leadership for the 21st Century course leverages cutting edge curriculum which is focused on improving management performance in the following areas:

Participants will receive two psychometric assessments. The EQi 2.0 is a scientifically validated social skills assessment that measures an individual’s current level of emotional intelligence across five composite areas of social behavior. The Decision Style Profile assessment will reveal an individual’s current decision making ability and provide guidance on improving decision making effectiveness.

This course builds upon the Employee-Centric Leadership theory learned in Leadership for The 21st Century by focusing on how to maximize organization performance through Strategic Planning, Operational Design, and Performance Management.

Participants will learn:

  • How to develop a strategic engagement plan capable of maximizing performance through deliberate action and employee engagement.
  • How to facilitate operational excellence through strategic operational planning and organizational analysis.
  • How to create R2A2 (Roles, Responsibilities, Accountabilities, Authorities) for their organizations.
  • How to create a vision and mission statement that will facilitate shared purpose and an organizational continuity of effort.
  • How to maximize organizational performance through continuous improvement methodology such as; LEAN, Six Sigma, and Human Performance Technology (HPT).

By assessing the social skills of each team member, we can identify team performance derailers and begin to operate more cohesively and effectively by leveraging strengths and addressing gaps.
